18th OF NOVEMBER...
ITS GESL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at last....
EXAMINATIONS all done...
ASSIGNMENTS all done....
n with nothing more to worry about...
GESL grp 9( aka HIGH 9 )...
has decided to embark on our GESL mission....
that is to spent a day with the CHILDREN at KKH...
and it was one of my most FULFILLING volunteering work that i've done....
coz not only do i get to be around CHILDREN...
but...
we actually got to put SMILES on their faces...
and EVEN the DOCTORS n NURSES were happy to have us ard...
well dun blame them...
coz when u're ard children....
u're bound to act like one.....
HHAHAAHAHAHHA............
n tt explains my LOVE for KIDS....
like i really really ADORE them...
even dearest love always complain tt i give MY STUDENTS more attention den him...
AAHHAHAAHHA....


anyways...
our meeting spot was at KKH MAC...
where we had our LUNCH...
and then it was off to the VOLUNTEER's room..
where PREPARATION was on FULL GEAR....
we had ppl PUMPING AIR into the BALLOONS...
and we had ppl STAPLING the activity booklets together....
then it was a TRIAL run of the card games...
coz believe it or not..
SOME OF US dunno how to play em!!!
n i'm guilty of not knowing to play e FAMILY game...

at 2.30 sharp...
we did our rounds...
we split into two separate groups..
and went to the many2 different children wards that they have...
the first ward that my group went to was the CHILDREN's CANCER ward...
oh how cute the kids were...
and though we were not suppose to be emotional among the kids...
i cant help but feel for them inside...
at such a young age and they are diagnosed with such critical illnesses....
despite that...
they are still the most adorable ppl in the hosp....
and they were running at us for BALLOONS...
hehehehehe....
they made my day.....


at the end of it...
we had a debrief session to gather what KENNETH calls AFI(areas for improvement)
hehehehehe....
this is to help the next batch of us who will be coming nxt tues...
i feel like coming dwn again....
but....
its orite lah...
let's give others the chance..
HAHAAHAHAHHA......
all in all....
i miss being around CHILDREN...
i noe my 3 lil siblings at home are always around me...
annoying yet adorable as always..
BUT...
i jus miss TEACHING...
and tt reminds me...
MY STUDENTS cant stop LOOKING for me...
OHH!!!!!
i MISS THEM soo much...
i wanna be able to GET BACK TO TEACHING soon...
till then...
i gotta get thru these 2 yrs at NIE first...
