ITS A WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!(only....)and its already third day at sch though..i mean work..haha..

oki..jus a little info about my life..currently i'm embarking on my journey to be a Special Education teacher at BALESTIER SPECIAL SCHOOL for the next 7 mths..and for the whole of last week it was training week..more of getting to know how to manage your class and how to manage the children..

and this week it was START OF SCH for me..thankfully, we weren't thrown straight away into the classes and told to start teaching..it will be a week of class observation and orientation for us new teachers..for some, they have already known which child they will be taking over from the previous teacher..but as for some..we had to go round from class to class discovering new kids and new learning environment as we were still not attached to any child yet..Y???i'm unsure still..but still have yet to ask my head of programmes(HOP)..so currently, my co-teacher and i, we will come to sch early in the morning..wait for our HOP to inform which teacher is on MC as tt will be the class that we will be taking for the day..so for the time being..the early mornings are often filled with anxiety and surprises for me..coz i will be faced with a new child sometimes..

and....
so far..i've met 4 children..with 4 different characters..but more importantly..all of them are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!they may be autistic..but gosh..they are really smart..maybe because the level of kids that i'm taking are all high functioning which means they have the potential to go into mainstream schools...haha..but seriously..i am so proud of these children..their passion to learn is just so high..it really touch my heart...but like the teachers der say..with that, comes great amount of patience and dedication to actually teach the children to reach tt certain level..

anyway, the past few days was also a period of orientation..which is also another word for training lah..hahaha..so we get to sit in our classes till 10am before we proceed to the conference room for our training..n tt's usually not the fun part..coz its really too much theory..sometimes my mind just shuts off especially aft a tiring day before that...

as for now..i'm hoping that i will get to have a permanent child soon..and not be floating from classes to classes..coz i really want to settle dwn with a proper child and class to teach..but whatever it is..i'm happy being around these children..coz they bring light to my life..and they really make me smile every single day...hehehe...
