when men become soldiers
070606..That marks the end of BMT for my dear soldier..finally he's out of Tekong n back home safe n sound..BUT..unfortunately that does not mark the end of his NS life..still got 1 yr and 6mths to go..*shrugs* Currently, the bf is waiting for his posting results..which will only be known nxt fri..n hopefully he gets to where he aims to go to..he has definitely put in his best in camp and more importantly in every task that is being assigned to him..
but as u know dear..life is never fair..there is always a twist in it that can make us jus look back n wonder where we did wrong..we dun always get what we want..but dun worry k?i believe that everything happens for a reason n only god knows what's best for us..no matter what happens..i will always be proud of u..orite??
so met his parents at 2pm at pasir ris interchange..n boarded the bus which brought us all the way to the SAF ferry terminal..n the moment tt i enjoyed most!!THE BOAT RIDE!!haha..i think tt's the only think that makes me happy going to TEKONG..( i dun always get ferry rides lor..so must make full use of the moment ) hehe..so the bumpy but smooth ride on the PENGUIN ferry was a really cool one..esp with the air condition n the nice view of the sea..haha..oki enuff of that..
anyway, as we were led to the parade area i must say the heat of the scorching sun really got on to us..it was so hot!!n everyone was like practically fanning themselves..n there was this lady..i must mention her..coz she brought those batt operated fans!!! gosh!! i wash so jealous..u can just see the wind from tt fan blowing her hair..and as for me..i had to use most of my energy to fan MYSELF!!haha...
the parade started off with a drill performance from the winning company at the drill comp last mon..it was really cool..reminded me of my drill comp days in secondary..one which i never participate coz of certain valid reasons..hahah..so the usual routine of the parade took place..

And den the parents or relatives were invited down to the parade ground to have the honour of putting on the caps on their sons..awww...how sweet was that...i must say it was an very special moment for the guys..or should i say soldiers..haha..n i'm really proud of u dearie!!

N guess what??i must say its a small world..as i was walking on the parade ground to meet the bf..i saw my dear couz..another soldier in my life..haha

And so that was how yesterday was spent..i must say it was almost a whole day spent at Tekong..n everyone was so tired n hungry by the time the whole parade ended..the evening sunset was so beautiful..it was really a wonderful time spent...n so it was off to the boats again..haha..n also a smooth ride back home...
