I am lying in my bed
Watching the raindrop fall
A tear stream down my face
I thought how could this be
We were meant to be
How did I lose you to him?
Was it who he is or what you want me to be that i could not give
I blamed you when I fail to see all that was wrong was me
All our past was never a history cause I choose to be me
Now that you’re gone
All that is left is me
Reflecting on our story
Now it seem clear that I was not who I was suppose to be
